Beauty Sales - Del Amo Fashion Center

Summary

Provide personalized beauty experiences for customers by conducting makeup applications, skincare analyses, and recommending products to meet individual beauty goals. Engage customers both in-store and digitally to build loyalty and achieve sales targets while contributing to a welcoming and inclusive department environment. Maintain product and industry knowledge through training and brand partnership resources.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications and skincare consultations to recommend appropriate products and services
• Engage customers to understand needs and build a customer following in-store and via digital channels (text and social media)
• Set and achieve individual sales goals and support team objectives
• Book appointments and drive sales for in-store beauty events and services
• Manage sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and assist customers with Nordstrom Rewards enrollments
• Keep the beauty department organized, clean, and customer-ready

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, makeup application, skincare, and awareness of current trends
• Excellent customer service skills with empathy and the ability to connect with diverse customers
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through capabilities
• Drive to achieve sales goals and comfort using networking and selling tools
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Ability to perform physical requirements including continuous movement for 6-8 hours and lifting up to 25 pounds
