Summary
Provide personalized beauty experiences through makeup applications, skincare analyses and product recommendations while driving sales for on-trend and luxury beauty brands in a retail department. Build customer relationships in-store and digitally, support department presentation and participate in beauty events and services.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare consultations tailored to customer goals
- Recommend and sell beauty products from multiple brands
- Use digital tools including text and social media to support sales and book appointments
- Set and achieve individual sales goals and participate in performance-based incentives
- Manage sales transactions, refunds and account enrollments for rewards program
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Maintain department organization, cleanliness and customer-ready presentation
- Support in-store beauty events and services to drive sales
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, makeup application and skincare
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with empathy and respect
- Ability to multitask, stay organized and follow through on tasks
- Drive to meet sales goals and willingness to use networking and technology
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Capable of continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift and frequent bending and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for grasping and fine manipulation
- Ability to lift regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
- Comfort working in a retail environment focused on luxury beauty brands
