Summary

Deliver personalized luxury beauty experiences by conducting makeup applications and skincare analyses, recommending products, and building customer relationships both in-store and digitally. Drive sales through appointments, events, and effective use of selling tools while maintaining a welcoming and organized beauty department.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications and skincare consultations tailored to customer goals.
• Engage customers to build a following, open Nordstrom Rewards accounts, and manage sales transactions, refunds, and exchanges.
• Set and achieve individual and department sales goals; sell both in-store and via digital channels including text and social media.
• Book and drive appointments and in-store beauty events and services with brand partners.
• Maintain department organization, cleanliness, and product knowledge through ongoing training.

Requirements

• Passion for beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare with strong customer service skills.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and ability to handle customer concerns while contributing to a positive team environment.
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through; interest in using networking and technology for selling.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends and meet physical requirements (continuous movement 6-8 hours; lifting up to 25 pounds).
