Summary

Provide personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations to customers on the sales floor, focusing on makeup, skincare, and luxury fragrance. Deliver makeup applications and skincare analyses while building customer relationships both in-store and through digital channels. Drive sales and appointments for brand events and services while maintaining an organized, customer-ready department.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses, recommending products aligned with customer goals.
• Engage customers to build loyalty and drive in-store and digital sales, including use of text and social media.
• Book appointments and support beauty events and services to grow client base.
• Process sales, refunds, exchanges, and assist customers with Nordstrom Rewards enrollment.
• Maintain department presentation, organization, and cleanliness to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Stay current on product knowledge and beauty trends through training with Nordstrom and brand partners.

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare with strong customer service focus.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and the ability to connect with diverse customers.
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills with a drive to meet sales goals.
• Comfortable using digital tools and social media to support selling and client outreach.
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends and ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent movement and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
