Summary

Deliver personalized beauty consultations and makeup and skincare services on the sales floor to create memorable customer experiences. Engage customers to identify needs, recommend products, and build customer relationships both in-store and through digital channels. Drive sales by meeting targets, booking appointments, and supporting beauty events while maintaining a clean, organized department.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses, recommending products that meet customers' beauty goals
• Engage and build relationships with customers to grow loyalty and drive repeat business
• Use in-store and digital selling tools, including text and social media, to meet sales goals
• Book appointments and support in-store beauty events and services
• Handle sales transactions, returns, exchanges, and assist customers with Nordstrom Rewards enrollment
• Maintain department organization, cleanliness, and customer readiness

Requirements

• Passion for beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare with strong customer service orientation
• Excellent ability to connect with customers, handle concerns empathetically, and contribute to a positive team environment
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills and interest in using technology for selling
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Physical ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
