Summary

Provide personalized beauty experiences by performing makeup applications, skincare analyses, and recommending products to meet customers' beauty goals. Engage customers both in-store and digitally to build loyalty and drive sales for luxury beauty brands. Maintain a welcoming, organized, and customer-ready department while supporting Nordstrom and brand trainings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications and skincare consultations based on customer needs
• Recommend and sell beauty products to meet individual beauty goals
• Use digital tools including text and social media to sell and build customer following
• Book appointments and support in-store beauty events and services
• Set and achieve sales goals and participate in performance-based incentives
• Manage sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
• Keep the department organized, clean, and customer-ready
• Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare
• Ability to connect with customers and handle customer concerns with empathy
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
• Drive to achieve sales goals and use networking and technology for selling
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
• Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours and perform physical tasks
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
