Beauty Stylist - Del Amo Fashion Center

Summary

The Beauty Stylist drives beauty sales across brands by using demonstration and artistry techniques and providing one-on-one consultations. This role focuses on appointment-based and digital selling, building lasting customer relationships, and meeting sales goals in a commissioned environment. The stylist also supports vendor partnerships and creates in-store events to grow clientele.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for both in-store and digital channels.
• Provide product demonstrations, consultations, and personalized recommendations.
• Grow business through appointment-based selling, follow-up, and opening Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
• Use selling tools including text and social media to engage customers and drive sales.
• Create and host in-store events and network in the community to build clientele.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and keep current on product trends and knowledge.

Requirements

• 1+ years of beauty industry experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, organization, and follow-through.
• High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative; ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
