Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels using selling tools including text and social media
• Maintain product expertise and track industry trends to inform recommendations
• Initiate consultations using open-ended questions to understand customer needs
• Build and follow up with customers to grow repeat business and invite them to events
• Focus on appointment-based selling, utilize technology, and open Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Create in-store events, network in the community, and cultivate vendor relationships

Requirements

• 1+ years of beauty industry experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, strong organization, and follow-through
• High level of ownership, accountability, initiative, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Physical requirements include continuous movement for 6-8 hours with frequent bending, reaching, fine manipulation, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
