Summary

The Retail Salesperson in Women's Apparel provides fashion-focused styling and builds lasting customer relationships both in-store and digitally. This role drives sales through in-person and digital selling channels, including text and social media, and helps maintain a customer-ready department. The schedule varies by week based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling using selling tools, text, and social media
• Build and grow customer relationships and open new Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Provide style and fit guidance and deliver exceptional customer service on the customer’s terms
• Maintain the department by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Support the team and occasionally perform duties in other departments as business needs require

Requirements

• Excellent communication and people skills and a self-motivated, goal-oriented focus
• Interest in using networking and technology to achieve sales goals and the ability to excel in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, stay organized, and follow through in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Physical ability for continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift and to regularly lift items up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
