Summary

The Retail Salesperson is passionate about fashion and styling and focuses on cultivating and growing a customer following both digitally and in-store. This role sets and achieves sales goals, provides personalized styling and fit guidance, and helps maintain a customer-ready department through merchandising and order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using tools such as text and social media
• Build and maintain lasting customer relationships and open new Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Provide honest, confident style and fit recommendations to customers
• Keep the department customer ready by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, and performing price markdowns
• Occasionally perform duties in other departments and support team selling efforts

• Excellent communication and people skills with a self-motivated, goal-oriented focus
• Interest in using networking and technology to achieve sales goals and grow customer relationships
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work in a fast-paced team environment, and follow through on responsibilities
• Flexible availability based on business needs and ability to perform physical tasks including frequent bending and lifting up to 25 pounds
