Summary

The Beauty Stylist drives beauty sales through product demonstration, artistry techniques, and personalized consultations. This role focuses on building lasting customer relationships, selling both in-store and digitally, and working in a commissioned sales environment. The stylist leverages appointments, social media, and vendor partnerships to meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools and social media
• Conduct service consultations and product demonstrations to identify customer needs
• Grow sales through appointment-based selling and opening customer accounts
• Follow up with customers to build repeat business and recommend new products
• Create in-store events, network in the community, and act entrepreneurially
• Maintain strong vendor relationships to stay informed on key products and trends

Requirements

• 1+ years of beauty industry experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and strong organization
• High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative in a commissioned environment
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Physical ability to be active 6-8 hours per shift and lift up to 25 pounds
