The Retail Salesperson is passionate about fashion and styling, cultivating and growing customer relationships both in-store and digitally. They set and achieve sales goals, provide style and fit guidance, and help keep the department customer-ready through merchandising and order fulfillment. The role requires a flexible schedule and may occasionally involve performing duties in other departments.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools, including text and social media
• Build and maintain lasting customer relationships and open Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Provide styling and fit feedback and deliver excellent customer service on customers' terms
• Keep the department customer-ready: fill orders, stock, re-merchandise, process markdowns, and perform light cleaning
• Work flexibly across departments as needed and support team sales objectives

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset
• Ability to use networking and technology to drive sales and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs and occasionally perform duties in other departments
