Summary

The Salesperson is passionate about fashion and styling and cultivates and grows a customer following both digitally and in-store. They set and achieve sales goals using selling tools such as text and social media and provide confident, honest guidance on style and fit. The role also supports department merchandising and order fulfillment and requires flexibility to work varied schedules and occasional duties in other departments.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools including text and social media
• Build and maintain lasting customer relationships and open Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Provide styling and fit recommendations and deliver excellent customer service on customers' terms
• Seek and maintain product and fashion knowledge to drive sales
• Perform department tasks to keep the area customer ready, including filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Work as part of a team and be flexible to support other departments as needed

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with organization and follow-through
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling and handling bulky items including reaching above the head
• Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
