Cosmetics Counter Manager

Summary

Manage daily operations of a luxury cosmetics counter, leading a small team to deliver exceptional client service and achieve sales targets. Oversee merchandising, inventory, and staff development while maintaining a premium presentation and customer experience. Serve as the primary on-site leader responsible for driving sales, training associates, and ensuring operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach counter associates to meet individual and team sales goals and KPIs.
• Manage daily operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory control.
• Ensure premium merchandising standards and product presentation on the counter.
• Deliver exceptional client experiences through one-on-one consultations, product demonstrations, and follow-up.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate staff performance to build a high-performing team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of retail management experience, preferably in prestige cosmetics or beauty retail.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving client conversion.
• Strong product knowledge of luxury cosmetic brands and makeup application techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and peak shopping periods.
