The Beauty Counter Manager is a sales focused leader responsible for maximizing sales and delivering personalized beauty experiences at an assigned brand counter. This role combines selling, product knowledge, customer education, and event coordination while building customer loyalty through in-store and digital channels.
Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools including text and social media
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize business results
- Manage sales transactions including refunds and exchanges and open new rewards accounts
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive customer experience
- Maintain department organization, cleanliness, and customer readiness
- Stay current on beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through trainings
Requirements
- Passion for customer service and beauty including makeup application and skincare
- Excellent ability to connect with customers and handle customer concerns with empathy and respect
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in networking and using technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours and perform frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds
