Summary
Lead the Leather Goods department at the NY flagship, driving sales performance, customer service excellence, and adherence to brand standards. Partner with the Store Director to recruit, train, and develop the team while overseeing operational tasks and ensuring the department meets business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee department performance and customer service on the sales floor.
- Drive sales leadership and work to achieve and exceed sales targets for the store and category.
- Maintain and execute clienteling strategies and accurate client records.
- Mentor and coach sales team members to develop competencies and improve results.
- Partner with Store Director on recruiting, training, and staff development.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures and standards with back of house team.
- Manage department opening and closing and back-office operational functions.
- Uphold brand service values and manage customer relationships professionally.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in the luxury sector.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a sales team.
- Strong knowledge of fashion industry and luxury retail operations.
- Goal oriented with a strong drive for results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized, adaptable, and a strong brand ambassador.
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
