Summary
Responsible for delivering exceptional one-on-one customer service while driving sales for the brand through product knowledge, merchandising, and appointment based selling. The role requires building lasting customer relationships, using digital selling tools, and contributing to a high performing team in a retail department setting.
Responsibilities
- Set and achieve personal and department sales goals for in-store and digital channels
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
- Provide style and fit advice to customers and promote product value
- Use selling tools including text and social media and manage reservations and appointments
- Participate in product knowledge trainings and lead information sharing with peers
- Support merchandising tasks such as stocking, remerchandising, displays and price markdowns
- Provide product feedback to the district manager to inform assortment decisions
- Open new customer rewards accounts to grow sales
- Occasionally perform duties in other departments as needed
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with customers
- Ability to work in a competitive team environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Comfort using sales reporting to track goals and performance
- Strong product and brand knowledge with ability to educate customers
- Confidence selling across high and low price points and demonstrating item value
- Organizational skills to follow up strategically on customer wardrobe needs
- Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds
