Designated Selling Associate responsible for one-on-one customer service and driving sales for a women's ready to wear brand through product knowledge, merchandising, and appointment based selling. Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals for in store and digital selling using selling tools including text and social media
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow Nordstrom Rewards accounts
- Provide styling advice and educate customers on fit value and wardrobe needs
- Conduct and participate in product knowledge meetings and brand trainings
- Drive appointment based selling during event and non event timeframes
- Collaborate with team and neighboring departments to support merchandising and displays
- Perform department duties such as stocking re merchandising price markdowns and merchandise transfers
- Provide product feedback to the district manager to inform assortment decisions
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to cultivate customer relationships
- Ability to work in a competitive team environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Flexible availability to work varying schedules based on business needs
- Ability to read sales reporting relative to goals
- Knowledge of fashion trends and ability to educate customers on brands and styling
- Comfort with a range of price points and articulating product value
- Organizational skills to follow up and advise customers strategically
- Physical ability to stand and move continuously and lift items up to 25 pounds
