Summary
The Designated Selling Associate for Women's Ready To Wear is a sales-focused role that builds customer relationships, champions the brand, and drives in-store and digital sales through product knowledge, merchandising, and appointment-based selling. The DSA collaborates with peers to deliver excellent service, educate customers on style and fit, and support department readiness through merchandising and transfers. The schedule varies by week and requires flexibility to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels using selling tools such as text and social media
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers through personalized service and follow up
- Provide confident styling advice on fit, value, and wardrobe completion
- Conduct and participate in product knowledge meetings and trainings
- Drive appointment-based selling during events and non-event timeframes
- Support department readiness by stocking, remerchandising, displays, price markdowns, transfers and cleaning
- Open new rewards program accounts to grow customer base
- Provide product feedback to management to inform assortment decisions
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to cultivate customer relationships
- Ability to perform in a competitive team environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Flexible availability to work a variable schedule based on business needs
- Ability to read and act on sales reporting relative to goals
- Strong product and brand knowledge with ability to educate customers on new brands
- Confidence selling across high and low price points and articulating product value
- Organizational skills to strategically follow up and advise on wardrobe needs
- Physical ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds
