Distribution Center Administrator

Summary

The Distribution Center Administrator coordinates processing and fulfillment for a luxury goods distribution center, overseeing order coordination, receiving, inventory control, and shipping support. This role supports inventory cycles, year-end preparation, quality control for luxury watches and jewelry, and cross-functional collaboration with stores and eCommerce.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and training to the distribution center team
• Assume managerial duties and support succession planning
• Ensure high-quality fulfillment for distribution center orders
• Perform quality control to meet brand standards for luxury goods
• Coordinate and manage order fulfillment workflows
• Manage merchandise inventory controls across multiple locations
• Coordinate with stores for special orders, issues, and supplies
• Lead weekly monthly and year-end inventory preparation and counts
• Manage logistics for marketing campaigns showroom openings and relocations

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years warehouse experience in luxury retail or wholesale
• SAP experience preferred
• High school or bachelor diploma
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• GIA certified or experience with quality control of luxury goods
