Distribution Center Associate - Mdce Inbound

Summary

The Distribution Center Associate is responsible for accurate receiving, storing, picking, put-away, and shipping of product while meeting safety, security, and productivity standards. This role supports inbound and outbound operations to ensure items are handled to prevent damage and shipped accurately to customers and stores.

Responsibilities

• Receive pallets and complete receipts by purchase order, aligning by vendor
• Stage and load outbound trailers following shipping best practices
• Ensure accuracy and proper orientation of loads to prevent damage
• Stack and organize library items to support safe handling during unloading
• Perform putaway, picking, and shipping tasks to meet productivity and performance goals
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment and follow all safety regulations

Requirements

• 1+ years of distribution or warehouse experience
• Basic mathematics and reading skills
• Strong understanding of inventory flow and organizational skills
• Effective verbal communication skills
• Ability to consistently lift a minimum of 50 lbs and perform prolonged standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and climbing
