Distribution Center Associate

Summary

The Distribution Center Associate is responsible for accurate receiving, storing, picking, put-away, and shipping of product while meeting safety, security, and productivity standards. The role supports staging and loading of outbound trailers, maintains inventory integrity to prevent damage, and requires physical effort and attention to detail. Associates must follow established procedures and contribute to team performance goals.

Responsibilities

• Receive pallets and complete receipts by purchase order, ensuring vendor alignment and accuracy
• Stage and load outbound trailers following shipping best practices
• Ensure correct carton orientation and stacking to prevent damage during transit and handling
• Perform put-away, picking, storing, and shipping tasks to maintain inventory accuracy
• Meet individual, team, and departmental productivity and performance goals
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment and comply with safety and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• 1+ years of distribution or warehouse experience
• Basic mathematics and reading skills and a strong understanding of inventory flow
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to consistently lift a minimum of 50 lbs and perform prolonged standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and climbing
