Distribution Center Associate - Receiving

Summary

The Distribution Center Associate - Receiving is responsible for accurate receiving, storing, picking, put-away and shipping of products to meet company standards for safety, security and productivity. This role supports warehouse operations in North East, MD and ensures product is handled to avoid damage while meeting departmental performance goals. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Receive pallets and verify completed receipts by purchase order
• Stage, load and secure product within outbound trailers following shipping best practices
• Ensure accurate loading and stacking to prevent damage during transport and unloading
• Perform put-away, picking and storage tasks to maintain correct inventory flow
• Meet individual, team and departmental productivity and performance targets
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment in compliance with regulations

Requirements

• 1+ years of distribution or warehouse experience
• Basic mathematics and reading skills with a strong understanding of inventory flow
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to consistently lift a minimum of 50 lbs and perform prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing
