Distribution Center Associate - Receiving

Summary

The Distribution Center Associate is responsible for accurate receiving, storing, picking, put-away, and shipping of product to meet company standards for safety, security, and productivity. This role supports warehouse operations to ensure inventory integrity and timely order fulfillment. The associate works as part of a team to maintain operational goals and a clean, safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive pallets and complete receipts by purchase order, staging product by vendor.
• Stage and load outbound trailers following shipping best practices and load accuracy standards.
• Stack and handle items to prevent damage and ensure safe unloading and transport.
• Perform put-away, picking, and shipping tasks to maintain inventory accuracy and productivity targets.
• Adhere to safety procedures and keep the warehouse clean and free of debris.

Requirements

• 1+ years of distribution or warehouse experience.
• Basic mathematics and reading skills and a strong understanding of inventory flow.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to consistently lift a minimum of 50 lbs and perform prolonged standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and climbing.
