General Manager - Sherman Oaks

Summary

The General Manager leads all aspects of store operations to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve financial targets. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, managing staffing and development, and ensuring operational excellence across the location. The General Manager represents store leadership on the sales floor and collaborates with corporate partners to implement strategies and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop store leadership and sales teams to meet performance goals and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Drive sales, margin, and KPI performance through effective merchandising, promotions, and team direction.
• Manage P&L responsibility including budgeting, expense control, and inventory optimization.
• Ensure operational standards for visual merchandising, inventory control, loss prevention, and store presentation are met.
• Recruit, hire, schedule, and maintain staffing levels to support business needs, including weekend and holiday coverage.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of progressive retail management experience, with demonstrated success driving sales and managing teams.
• Proven P&L management, budgeting, and inventory control experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills with the ability to develop high-performing teams.
• Customer focused with excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required; college degree preferred.
