Job Description

Summary

As an HR Generalist at LVMH Fashion Group in New York, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and delivery of People priorities that foster a high-performance culture and employee-focused experience. You will work closely with the Sr. HR Business Partner to implement and execute programs aimed at attracting, developing, and managing the organization's talent pool.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate implementation and execution of key HR programs and processes, including on-boarding, performance management, and compensation.
  • Assist in resolving employee relations issues and collaborate with business leaders and legal counsel.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for employee groups and manage special projects.
  • Collaborate with specialized HR functions to maximize the impact of HR initiatives.
  • Manage performance improvement plans and involuntary terminations.
  • Support administrative tasks such as file maintenance and HRIS updates.
  • Explain company policies and procedures to employees.
  • Support talent management and development by analyzing needs and assisting with action planning.
  • Drive succession pipeline implementation and measure progression.
  • Support internal programs focused on workforce retention and engagement.
  • Assist with recognition program coordination and participate in internal resource groups.
  • Collect and analyze employee data to measure the effectiveness of talent strategies.
  • Review and recommend process improvements based on data insights.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of related experience in Human Resources.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Retail experience preferred; experience in luxury/fashion business a plus.
  • Familiarity with HR processes, systems, tools, and programs.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritize workload with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products, specifically Excel.
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in an autonomous environment.
  • Planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
