Summary
The HR Operations and Cost Controlling Specialist partners with HR and Finance to plan regional personnel costs and headcount, maintain HR operations and employee data accuracy in Workday and payroll systems, and support reporting and executive presentations. This role also oversees compensation related processes including commission calculations for retail and supports implementation of HR policies and projects.
Responsibilities
- Plan regional personnel costs and headcount for budget and forecast in partnership with HR and Finance
- Monitor personnel costs monthly and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain HR reports on headcount, open positions, turnover, time off balances and absenteeism
- Oversee commission calculation and pay for retail on a bi-weekly basis
- Coordinate production of HR employee documents and ensure compliance with policies and local labor law
- Maintain employee administrative data and liaise with Shared Services for payroll completion
- Act as Workday and HRIS champion, trainer and support for the region
- Support annual salary review process and assist with compensation policy implementation
- Assist with preparation of ad-hoc analysis, executive decks and business presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent professional analytical experience
- Experience preferably in a retail environment with international exposure
- Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze figures and capture relevant data
- Ability to work with multiple reporting systems to extract data and proficient with Microsoft Office
- Experience making administrative and procedural judgments and driving projects forward
- Strong planning, organization and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to support payroll and compensation processes including commission and bonus calculations
