Summary
HR Specialist supporting the retail organization for the Northeast market. Acts as primary HR contact for retail leaders and store teams, manages HR administrative functions, supports talent acquisition and employee relations, and coordinates HR projects to drive engagement and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Provide HR administrative support to retail population including benefits, policies, leaves of absence, and HR inquiries
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and onboarding processes including offer letters and background checks
- Track and analyze staffing, retention, turnover, exit interview data and H and S metrics and present findings
- Support workers compensation claims and return to work plans and participate in Health and Safety meetings
- Partner with HRBP and corporate partners to ensure employment law and policy compliance
- Support full cycle recruitment for non exempt store roles and manage recruitment trackers and rehire checks
- Lead or support HR and talent acquisition projects such as hiring events and seasonal recruitment
- Provide support for workplace investigations, prepare memos and agreements, and maintain performance management trackers
- Champion DEIB initiatives and support culture and engagement activities
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar HR role, ideally in luxury retail
- Proven ability to collaborate and build strong interpersonal relationships
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
