The Interim Assistant Manager - Beauty supports the Department Manager by using directive selling to meet sales goals, coaching sales associates, maintaining merchandising and inventory standards, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast paced retail beauty environment.
Responsibilities
- Use directive selling to meet or exceed sales goals
- Build personal trade by developing and maintaining customer relationships
- Assist Department Manager in achieving department volume and productivity goals
- Develop and execute a business plan to drive sales
- Coach and train salespeople to meet Sell More Make More goals
- Act as a fashion and product knowledge role model for customers
- Ensure merchandising and presentation standards are met
- Maintain accurate inventory management and stock processes
- Manage competing priorities in a fast paced retail environment
Requirements
- Proven track record of sales productivity and personal trade
- Experience using directive selling techniques
- Ability to use key metrics to identify opportunities and drive volume
- Strong organizational skills and attention to follow through
- Ability to coach and lead sales teams
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced setting
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service
