The Interim Beauty Counter Manager leads a branded beauty counter, blending sales and client education to drive results. This role focuses on creating personalized beauty experiences, executing brand events, and building customer relationships both in-store and digitally. The manager supports vendor partnerships and ensures the counter is customer-ready.

Responsibilities

• Provide makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product recommendations tailored to customer needs
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools, including text and social media
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events, promotions, and in-store activations
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize business results
• Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and assist customers with Nordstrom Rewards account enrollment
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and customer-ready presentation of the counter

• Passion for beauty, makeup application, skincare, and current industry trends
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect, handle concerns, and create an inclusive experience
• Results-oriented mindset with interest or experience in a commissioned sales environment
• Excellent multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills; high level of ownership and initiative
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Physical ability to stand and move for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed
