Interim Beauty Counter Manager - Santa Anita

Summary

As an Interim Beauty Counter Manager you will lead a brand counter at the store, delivering personalized makeup and skincare services while driving sales. You will coach and collaborate with team members, manage vendor events and promotions, and use in-store and digital tools to build customer relationships and meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare consultations and recommend products based on customer goals
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales targets using in-store and digital selling tools including text and social media
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events, promotions, and vendor relationships
• Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and open customer Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Maintain a clean, organized, customer-ready counter and collaborate with the team to deliver excellent service

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, makeup application, skincare, and customer service
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with customers and resolve concerns
• Excellent multitasking, organization, and follow-through; ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Drive to achieve sales goals and experience or comfort with networking and digital selling tools
• Ability to stand and move continuously for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds as required
