Join the Texas workshop as a Maintenance Mechanic to support production by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems and contributing to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment including cutting prep and assembly machines
- Complete installation projects and workshop reorganizations safely and efficiently
- Ensure daily operation of machinery by servicing engines motors pneumatic tools and production machines
- Collaborate with Product Developers Process Engineers Continuous Improvement Engineers and Production Supervisors
- Identify root causes and implement corrective solutions
- Measure parts and determine dimensional changes using rulers calipers and micrometers
- Modify machine dimensions using various mechanical tools
- Prepare daily work status reports and maintain a safe clean work environment
- Partner with vendors security and contractors and participate in company improvement projects
Requirements
- Two year technical degree in electro mechanics or related field or four years equivalent experience
- Proven skills troubleshooting mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Experience with PLC programming fabrication and maintenance work order software
- Milling machine experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast paced high tech production environment
- Strong communication organizational and prioritization skills
- Fluency in English Bilingual Spanish or French is a plus
