Summary

The Personal Shopping Manager leads an elite team to deliver exceptional sales and service, ensuring the Personal Shopping department meets customer experience standards and financial targets. This role focuses on team development, client cultivation, and operational excellence within a luxury retail environment. The manager partners with cross-functional teams to maintain high visual standards and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales and profit targets for the Personal Shopping department
• Recruit, hire, onboard and develop elite personal shopping talent
• Coach and manage performance, recognition and improvement plans
• Cultivate and grow a loyal client base through acquisition and retention
• Collaborate with other managers and corporate teams to deliver seamless service
• Partner with Marketing to support events and community opportunities
• Maintain private shopping suites and curate product displays
• Manage payroll expenses and staffing coverage to meet business needs
• Oversee inventory control, customer holds and operational standards

Requirements

• 5 years minimum managerial experience with sales accountability
• Proven track record exceeding sales and profit targets
• Experience in luxury retail selling preferred
• Demonstrated leadership and change initiation skills
• Strong client relationship and business development abilities
• Ability to coach and develop high performing teams
• Operational awareness of inventory and customer processes
• Bilingual English and French preferred
