Job Description

Summary

The Sales Manager leads a team of sellers to drive customer experience and achieve sales targets while providing an engaging employment experience. This role involves recruiting and developing talent, collaborating with store leadership, managing operations and inventory, and serving as manager-in-charge as required.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets and customer service objectives for assigned areas
  • Recruit, select, hire and onboard team members
  • Lead, motivate and retain a high-performing sales team
  • Coach employees on standards, goals and performance improvement
  • Serve as manager-in-charge of the store as required
  • Oversee merchandise presentation and inventory performance
  • Implement customer relationship and loyalty management programming
  • Manage payroll expense while ensuring appropriate coverage
  • Maintain health and safety and privacy compliance

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience with sales accountability
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales and profit targets
  • Retail selling experience, luxury environment preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to initiate change
  • Strong coaching, communication and team development skills
  • Ability to build and grow an active client base
  • Operational awareness of store and leased business performance
