Summary
The Sales Manager leads a team of sellers to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve sales targets while fostering employee development and operational excellence across assigned areas. This role includes driving sales performance, coaching staff, overseeing client development and loyalty programs, and acting as manager-in-charge as required.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets and customer service objectives for area of responsibility
- Recruit, select, hire and on-board top retail talent
- Lead, motivate, coach and retain a high-performing team
- Serve as manager-in-charge of the store when required
- Maintain high standards of merchandise presentation and inventory performance
- Implement customer relationship and loyalty management programming
- Manage payroll and staffing coverage to meet business needs
- Oversee designated sales consultant programs and partner with vendors on goals
- Ensure compliance with health safety privacy and cyber security policies
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience with accountability for driving sales
- Proven track record of exceeding sales and profit targets
- Retail selling experience in a luxury environment preferred
- Strong leadership skills with ability to coach and develop employees
- Ability to recruit and onboard talent effectively
- Experience managing payroll and operational budgets
- Customer focused with experience growing client bases and loyalty programs
- Adaptable to change and able to influence store seasonal planning
