Manager, Pop Up Design

Summary

The Manager, Pop Up Design leads the design development and execution of pop-ups, pop-ins, and seasonal retail activations. This role partners with cross-functional and regional teams to deliver innovative experiential designs on time and within budget, and provides leadership to designers and freelancers.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts and design materials, including sketches, 3D models, renderings, and presentations, and secure leadership approvals.
• Manage projects from brief through installation, overseeing timelines, budgets, seasonal research and development, and freelancers.
• Partner with production teams on design intent, technical drawings, and prototypes, and collaborate with regional teams to meet project needs.
• Communicate project updates, support on-site installations and walkthroughs, and guide the growth and delivery of direct reports.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in displays, pop-ups, and in-store design.
• Creative background or qualification in an appropriate design field and experience in luxury fashion or jewelry retail.
• Illustration skills and proficiency in 3D CAD tools such as Rhino, Keyshot, or Vectorworks, as well as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to read floor plans, elevations, visualizations, and construction drawings, and to manage multiple projects with strong organization and communication skills.
