Summary

The Product Manager will lead the business for Costume Jewelry, Other Accessories, and Eyewear at the Saks New York boutique, serving as a brand ambassador and coaching a team of salespeople to deliver an elevated client experience. This role partners with the Boutique Director and Home Office buying team to drive assortment planning, category performance, and business analysis. The position requires in-store leadership, local market development, and implementation of performance-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor, and manage boutique sales teams to deliver exceptional client service and achieve sales targets
• Provide initial and ongoing training on product knowledge, CHANEL savoir faire, and service delivery
• Own category performance including analysis, reporting, assortment planning, and collaboration with buying teams
• Apply KPIs and insights to improve team and business performance
• Represent the brand in the market, developing the client base through local partnerships, events, and community engagement
• Ensure boutique image and operational standards are upheld to drive business results

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of related experience in retail or product/category management
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Excellent communication skills; foreign language skills preferred
• Ability to lift 15 lbs and work a flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, and some holidays
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in a boutique retail environment
