Summary
Lead the strategic vision for retail operations across East Coast locations, driving efficiency, profitability, and consistency of policies and procedures. Partner with senior retail leadership to implement operational programs, manage projects and ensure stores meet company standards. Oversee retail P&L, vendor negotiations, inventory alignment and systems issue resolution while providing training and support to store teams.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement a Retail Operations Handbook and provide ongoing training.
- Provide operational support to stores and field teams and identify training needs.
- Lead and project manage new store openings, renovations, pop ups and events.
- Plan and execute regular regional and remote store visits focused on priority doors.
- Manage retail P&L, vendor negotiations, supply orders and monitor spending.
- Partner with Inventory Management to maintain accurate inventory and control shrink.
- Manage systems issues with IT and facilities repairs with Facilities team.
- Consolidate reporting for all stores and partner with Regional Directors for task execution.
- Develop and lead trainings for operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum 5 years of store operations management experience, preferably as Store Manager or Operations Manager.
- Ability to travel regionally at least two weeks per month.
- Demonstrated ability to improve store processes and support project rollouts.
- Full understanding of specialty retail, outlet operations and visual merchandising.
- Experience with retail POS systems and proficiency in Word, Excel and email.
- Strong communication, critical thinking and presentation skills.
- Hands on leadership with ability to influence and manage multiple projects.
