Operations Manager - Sawgrass Outlet

Summary

The Retail Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational excellence of the Diesel store at Sawgrass Outlet, ensuring a seamless, on-brand customer experience while driving inventory accuracy, compliance, and productivity. This hands-on leader partners with the Store Manager to execute standards, manage controllable expenses, and develop a high-performing store team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational functions including opening/closing procedures, cash management, and store readiness.
• Ensure execution of operational standards, visual merchandising, signage, and brand presentation.
• Manage scheduling, floor coverage, and serve as Manager on Duty to support the business.
• Oversee receiving, processing, cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation processes.
• Monitor KPIs (units per transaction, shrink, payroll) and implement action plans to drive results.
• Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and conduct performance management for store associates.
• Coordinate floor sets, promotional updates, seasonal changeovers, and maintenance requests.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of retail management experience with a focus on operations; experience in specialty, outlet, or off-price retail preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team of 10+ associates.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, POS systems, and retail management systems.
• Familiarity with loss prevention practices, inventory audit processes, and safety compliance.
• Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays; ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
