Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses, recommending products based on customer goals
• Engage customers to build relationships and a customer following in-store and digitally
• Set and achieve sales goals using selling tools including text and social media
• Book appointments and drive sales for beauty events and services
• Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and assist customers with Nordstrom Rewards enrollment
• Maintain department cleanliness, organization, and product presentation

Requirements

• Passion for beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare
• Excellent customer service skills with empathy and the ability to handle customer concerns
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
• Motivation to achieve sales goals and use networking and technology for selling
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending, reaching, and use of hands
• Regularly lift items up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
