Receiving Support Associate - North Michigan

Summary

Receiving Support Associates help process incoming shipments, inspect merchandise for damage, and prepare stock for the sales floor and backroom. This part-time role works on the receiving dock and coordinates with store operations and inventory teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of merchandise. The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments and verify contents against packing lists.
• Inspect merchandise for damage, report issues, and document discrepancies.
• Tag, sort, and prepare merchandise for the sales floor or backstock.
• Move product safely using hand trucks or pallet jacks and maintain organized stock areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe receiving area and follow store safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in receiving, stock, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using inventory or point-of-sale systems.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings or evenings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures and safety guidelines.
