Summary
Regional Sales Manager responsible for driving wholesale sales, creating and implementing regional sales plans, managing and developing wholesale accounts across the Western US and Canada. Acts as primary company representative for clientele, develops business plans and sales strategies, and travels frequently to support accounts and events.
Responsibilities
- Drive wholesale sales and meet department sales goals.
- Manage day to day relationships with vendor accounts including product, inventory, presentation, repairs, and orders.
- Develop and implement regional sales programs and adjust as required.
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales budgets for the territory.
- Train, counsel and coach vendor and account representatives in product knowledge and selling techniques.
- Promote and sell new business to accounts through suggestive sales techniques.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, sales meetings and trunk shows and travel to customer locations to complete sales calls and training.
- Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding market trends and account performance.
- Assist with collections and resolve customer complaints as required.
Requirements
- Located in a travel hub on the West Coast of the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or similar field.
- Minimum of 3 years proven sales experience in jewelry or luxury goods preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation and public speaking skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills; self-motivated and proactive.
- Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to develop plans, establish priorities and organize activities to optimize sales growth.
- Ability to build strong client relationships and travel frequently with limited advance notice; international travel required.
