Summary
Partner with Merchandise Planning and Sales to develop forecasting and assortment strategies for the Women’s Polo business, driving volume and margin growth while reflecting seasonal merchandising vision. Support account planning and deliver strategic, data driven plans in collaboration with Account Executives and Buyers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales and Merchandise Planning to prepare financial class plans, flow, and door targets.
- Build assortments and validate financial metrics to ensure product placements meet goals.
- Perform weekly account performance analysis and report best and worst performers.
- Provide insights to Account Executive, Buying, and Merchandising teams and highlight opportunities.
- Prepare account recaps and review with Account Planning Lead for management meetings.
- Reconcile and review sizing as part of post market process.
- Create and maintain tools for market preparation and sales meetings.
- Support ad hoc projects requiring full understanding of product life cycle.
- Maintain proactive communication with account management to drive plan achievement.
Requirements
- College degree required.
- 3+ years related experience in assortment planning merchandise planning or account planning.
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookup.
- Strong communication problem solving and multitasking abilities.
- Experience with retail math and analytical reporting.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word PowerPoint Outlook and Teams.
- Familiarity with planning tools such as Anaplan is a plus.
