Summary
The Senior Manager Key Accounts will serve as the primary contact for retailer buying offices, driving strategic account plans, inventory planning, activations, and negotiations to grow national accounts and achieve sales targets while ensuring strong in-store and online presence.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailer clients.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive growth and revenue.
- Coordinate cross functional efforts with sales, marketing, product, and planning teams.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and support new business pitches.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with key accounts.
- Conduct business reviews and analyze KPIs to report on account health and forecasts.
- Manage problem resolution and provide proactive client support.
- Collaborate on launch strategies with marketing, digital, and store design teams.
- Optimize product assortment and space placement within retail partners.
Requirements
- 6 years of experience in account management, sales, or sales planning.
- Proven ability to retain and grow strategic accounts.
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into strategies.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to multitask and prioritize.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field preferred.
- Comfortable with light to moderate physical requirements and prolonged stationary work.
