SummaryAs a Regional Support-Maintenance Technician, you will travel to facilities in the local and regional area to provide technical expertise and support. You will perform preventive maintenance on equipment, conduct electrical and mechanical work, and have a strong HVAC background. You will also manage truck and tool inventory, maintain a company vehicle, and document all work orders.
Responsibilities- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on all building equipment and building envelope.
- Ensure inspections are completed on facility equipment such as vertical transportation, boilers, generators, and HVAC.
- Perform electrical and mechanical work.
- Maintain HVAC equipment.
- Drive and manage company vehicle and tool inventory.
- Perform unscheduled and emergency work orders.
- Respond to after-hours and emergency calls; overtime may be required.
- Work with limited time off between mid-November and early to mid-January.
Requirements- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 5-10 years relevant experience with strong mechanical and technical training.
- Background in building maintenance, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.
- Excellent communication, time management, and computer skills.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and high mechanical aptitude.
- Self-starter with excellent troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to multitask and self-prioritize work assignments.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
- Effective communication skills with peers, management, contractors, and vendors.
- Understanding of SDS (Safety Data Sheets) information.
- EPA Certified - Universal.
- Valid driver’s license.
