Retail Operations Manager

Summary

Experienced retail operations leader based in New York responsible for driving operational excellence, compliance, and boutique performance across the North America network. The role partners with boutique leadership and cross-functional teams to lead systems initiatives, maintenance, client experience programs, and regional projects to standardize and improve retail operations. This position also supports boutique openings, renovations, and the development of operations teams to ensure consistent execution and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure boutiques comply with policies, procedures, audit requirements, and inventory controls.
• Partner with Boutique Directors and cross-functional teams to maintain operational standards and audit readiness.
• Lead retail systems and application initiatives; act as liaison between boutiques, HQ, IT, and central teams and coordinate training and change management.
• Oversee boutique maintenance, back-of-house standards, openings, renovations, and manage regional maintenance priorities and budgets.
• Drive process improvements, monitor operating expenses, and lead regional initiatives focused on simplification, standardization, and productivity.
• Support onboarding, development, engagement, and succession planning for boutique operations teams and supervise Retail Operations Supervisors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in luxury retail operations or retail management.
• Proven experience managing complex retail environments and cross-functional projects with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and retail systems; strong communication and change-management capabilities.
• Proactive, collaborative, solution-oriented mindset and ability to travel regularly.
