Summary

The Salesperson is passionate about fashion and styling and cultivates and grows a customer following both digitally and in-store. This role focuses on achieving sales goals through in-store and digital selling using tools such as text and social media while delivering personalized styling and fit advice. The salesperson works with the team to keep the department customer-ready and may occasionally perform duties in other departments.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels using selling tools including text and social media
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and provide excellent service on the customer’s terms
• Provide honest, confident feedback to customers about style and fit
• Maintain the department by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, performing price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Grow relationships by opening new customer rewards program accounts
• Work a flexible schedule and be prepared to perform duties in departments other than the one hired into when needed

Requirements

• Excellent communication and people skills and a self-motivated, goal-oriented focus
• Strong interest in using networking and technology to achieve sales goals
• Ability to work effectively in a team, prioritize multiple tasks, and follow through
• Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Physical ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and fine manipulation
• Ability to regularly lift items up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
