The Retail Salesperson is passionate about fashion and styling and cultivates a customer following both digitally and in-store. The role requires flexibility to support other departments as needed and to work a variable schedule based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using tools such as text and social media
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow the Nordstrom Rewards program
• Provide honest, confident styling and fit recommendations to customers
• Perform department tasks including filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Collaborate with the team and occasionally support duties in other departments as needed

Requirements

• Excellent communication and people skills with a self-motivated, goal-oriented focus
• Strong interest in using networking and technology to achieve sales goals
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and excel in a fast-paced team environment
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule based on business needs
• Physical ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds
