Summary

The Retail Salesperson is passionate about fashion and styling and cultivates and grows customer relationships both digitally and in-store. This role sets and achieves sales goals using selling tools like text and social media while providing excellent, customer-focused service and style guidance.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools, including text and social media
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Provide honest, confident feedback on style and fit and deliver service on the customer’s terms
• Keep the department customer-ready through filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Be flexible to perform duties in other departments and work a variable schedule based on business needs

Requirements

• Excellent communication and people skills with a self-motivated, goal-oriented focus
• Interest in using networking and technology to drive sales and the ability to excel in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work a flexible schedule
• Physical ability to be continuously active 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, lifting up to 25 pounds, reaching, and fine hand manipulation
