Summary

Provide attentive, personalized selling for kids' apparel and shoes at the Cherry Creek Shopping Center location. Drive in-store and digital sales using tools such as text and social media while building lasting customer relationships. Maintain department presentation and support operational tasks to keep the selling floor customer-ready.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow a customer following
• Deliver exceptional customer service and provide honest style and fit guidance
• Use selling tools including text and social media to drive sales
• Fill orders, stock merchandise, re-merchandise, perform price markdowns, and keep the department clean
• Open new customer accounts in the Nordstrom Rewards program
• Be flexible to assist in other departments as business needs require

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented with an interest in using technology and networking to drive sales
• Ability to work effectively in a team and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organization and follow-through
• Flexible availability; schedule varies based on business needs
• Physical ability to be mobile for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting
• Able to regularly lift items up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
